The advertisement by the National Institute of Technology, Mizoram, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for applications to its Faculty positions is seeking people with good academic records who are committed to teaching and research and have a passion to make contributions to institutional development.

 

Available Positions :

 

The recruitment is for the following faculty roles, categorized by departments and reservation details:

• Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A2)

• Civil Engineering (CE): 1 Post (UR)
• Electrical Engineering (EE): 1 Post (OBC)

• Assistant Professor, Grade-II (on Contract) (Pay Level 10)

• Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): 2 Posts (1 UR, 1 ST)
• Electrical Engineering (EE): 1 Post (SC)
• Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): 1 Post (ST)
• Basic Sciences & Humanities (Chemistry): 1 Post (OBC)

Eligibility Criteria : 

• Associate Professor :

• Civil Engineering (CE) = 1 (1-UR)
• Electrical Engineering (EE)= 1 (1-OBC)

• Assistant Professor, Grade – II (on Contract) :

• Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) = 2 (1-UR, 1-ST)
• Electrical Engineering (EE) = 1 (1-SC)
• Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) = 1 (1-ST)

General Instructions :

• Each application must be complete and accompanied by self-attested copies of all supporting documents.

• Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications for each.

• Application fees:

• General/OBC: ₹1,000
• SC/ST: ₹500
• Women and PwD candidates are exempted.

• The admissible Application Fee must be remitted online in the following account details and the payment receipt must be sent along with the Application Form.
• Application Form without Payment Receipt will summarily be rejected.

It may also be noted that for each of the qualifications, professional experiences and achievements, documentary proof in the form of self-attested photo-copies to be attached.

REQUIREMENT OF DOCUMENTS / CERTIFICATES / DEGREES >

Self - attested copies of the following Documents/Certificates/Degrees are required

to be attached with the Application Form.

• Payment of fee: Proof of payment of Fee is to be enclosed along with the Application Form.
• Age Proof: Matriculation / 10th Standard/Secondary or equivalent Certificate
• Higher Secondary / Class XII (or equivalent) Mark Sheet and Certificate.
• Preceding Degrees: Submission of Degree Certificate of UG and PG along with Mark Sheets 
• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. Degree Certificate or Notification of Ph.D. Award issued by the authorized signatory.
• Caste/Tribe/Community Certificate.
• The Disability/Medical Certificate issued by a competent medical authority. (If Applicable)
• Photo Identity Card.
• Experience Certificates.
• Any other relevant documents in support of the entries filled in the prescribed Application Form.
