APSC-Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Requirement in ESI Scheme 2023

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released official notification for the requirement of  Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) in ESI Scheme, Assam under Labour Welfare Department. Eligible candidate may apply online through official portal.

Scale of Pay: Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month)

Eligibility Criteria :

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration certificate /Voter ID card of the certificate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency along with the online application form. State Govt. Employees of Assam need not submit any documents regarding domicile proof, however, they will have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer.

Education Qualification : Minimum qualification should be MBBS having Registration under Assam Medical Council, 1960.

Age Limit and Relaxation :

The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023.

The upper age limit is relaxable :

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up-to 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up-to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25’h April 2018.

Application Fees : 

Online processing fees will be charged Rs. 40.00 + 18% Tax = Rs. 47.20/- from each candidate.
